The new 470 Offshore Convertible enclosed flybridge model is a three cabin/two bathroom luxury cruiser and sportfisher. It will join the successful 500 and 550 models.
Founder and CEO Bill Barry-Cotter told guests at Maritimo's official Sydney Boat Show party on Friday, July 31 that the company had identified opportunities in the 40-to-50-foot range. The 470 Offshore is the first new model available in this market sector.
"The cruiser/sportfisher is a strong sector of the luxury boating market both in Australia and overseas," said Mr Barry-Cotter. "At Maritimo we have built an enviable reputation for long-range luxury cruisers. Now we are expanding those skills to the mid-range sportfish market."
With an internal staircase to the enclosed bridge, aft helm position and a large fishing-friendly cockpit, the 470 Offshore Convertible is aimed at a market for people who love both cruising and the thrill of big game fishing.
